Toby was in the recording studio and recorded two songs, one of the songs, 'The Only Thing Special About Me', written by Mark Alan, was marketed by Song Pluggers throughout the United States. Toby's agent, Ronald Cotton, said the radio stations said, "It's a good song!" The song, "The Only Thing Special About Me," was aired on over 200 radio stations throughout Central United States.

The song ‘The Only Thing Special About Me’ was charted on Billboard, January 2007, at 51; the response from the radio and the listeners was positive. Toby's agent, Ron Cotton, is presently having talks with an independent label.

October 2007
Toby Dawn's agent, Ron Cotton, recently sent Toby's material to record labels in Los Angeles. The response from the labels, by all accounts, has been positive; Ron continues to have talks in hopes of a potential record deal.
